Flametree Chardonnay 2020: Lovely, perfectly judged hit of oak upfront on the nose, with creamy, honeyed fruit aromas.  Mouth-filling and with lush fruits balanced by a citrus freshness and creamy oak. A textured yet fine palate adds to the interest. Terribly well balanced. Excellent.

Flametree SRS Wallcliffe Chardonnay 2018: Rich, ripe notes of tropical and stone fruits at the front of the mouth. Super salinity and balance in the middle, and a rush of white peach and grapefruit zippiness at the end.  Concentration and length are fantastic. All wrapped in the most sympathetically integrated oak. This is a spectacular wine! Fruit for the Flametree SRS Chardonnay is sourced from a single site, located in the southern part of the Wallcliffe sub-region, south of the Margaret River town site. The fruit from this vineyard comes from old, low yielding Gin-Gin vines.
