1 Bottle of each:
Marius Blanc (France) £8.75: Super fresh, zippy southern French vermentino. Beautiful crisp citrus fruit with peach and lime notes.
Colombette Grenache Rosé (France) £8.95: On the nose, aromas of fresh red cherry ans strawberry fruit, and light notes of citrus lead to a creamy yet dry mouthful of cherries and strawberries. A little bit of summer in your mouth!
Huber Gruner Veltliner Terrassen (Austria) £13.50: Classically Gruner: intense nose of blossom, jasmine, white pepper and citrus giving way to a fresh palate of lime, lemon and apple with hints of spice and bell pepper. Great precision and long length.
Castelnuovo del Garda Bardolino (Italy) £8.95: Bordering Valpolicella, but lying on the eastern shares of Lake Garda, this is a touch lighter but similarly bright wine stacked with crunchy cherries and brambles. It also works well chilled if that sort of thing floats your boat.
Montes Classic Merlot (Chile) £10.95: Deep and lively ruby red colour. Intensely aromatic and fruity, with raspberry and cassis alongside notes of coffee and tobacco. The mouthfeel is voluptuous and fresh with juicy fruit flavours and a vibrant acidity.
Treloar Three Peaks (France) £13.95: Individually vinified with the final blend being made after 1 year in barrel (only 5% of them new). Rich and spicy with flavours of forest fruits and a hint of leather. Nice earthy minerality and well-balanced structure.
