1 Bottle of each:
Blason Vouvray (France) £13.50: This has to be one of the best value whites in our portfolio. Citrus, apple and acacia blossom burst out the glass. Minerality, length, complexity - it's all here. Chenin Blanc from the Loire.
Colombette Grenache Rosé, 2020 (France) £9.50: On the nose, aromas of fresh red cherry and strawberry fruit, and light notes of citrus lead to a creamy yet dry mouthful of cherries and strawberries. A little bit of summer in your mouth! Organically farmed (but not certified).
Akriotou The Mountaineer Old Vine Savatiano (Greece) £13.50: Made from the native Savatiano grape, a very tasty combination of peach, grapefruit, creamy vanilla and a touch of herbs on the finish. I love the texture of this wine! Dry, fresh with beautifully balanced.
Colombette Grenache-Syrah Rouge (France) £9.50: Another win from one of our favourite producers. This charming blend of Grenache and Syrah is medium bodied with fresh red berry fruit and a nice hint of warm spice. Easy drinking and excellent value.
Julienas-Chaintre Fleurie Joie du Palais (France) £14.75: Classic Fleurie on the nose with big hints of violets, dried fruits and subtle oak. Light on the palate but by no means a slouch. Cranberry and red fruit flavours show with an underlying florality.
Rustenberg Merlot (South Africa) £14.50: This appetizing wine has everything a Merlot-lover could want, and more. Concentrated black-berried fruit is edged with sweet vanilla hints and spicy aromas on the nose. Juicy and soft makes it a guilty pleasure...
