Domaine Fournillon Chablis (France) £17.50: A family owned domaine that bottles less than 10% of their production so remain relatively unknown - for the moment. Crisp and refreshing with excellent fruit, and a generous cut of Chablis minerality. This Chablis is from the excellent 2016 vintage and is drinking beautifully!

Castelnuovo del Garda Bardolino (Italy) £8.95: Bordering Valpolicella, but lying on the eastern shares of Lake Garda, this is a touch lighter but similarly bright wine stacked with crunchy cherries and brambles.

La Prade Mari Secrets de Fontenille Minervois (France) £12.50: A deep ruby colour in the glass, this Minervois is intense and satisfying on both the nose and the palate! Meaty, with a hint of smoke, it has a rich palate full of ripe fruit and fine tannins. At home with a BBQ, or the dinner table.
