Billecart-Salmon Brut 2009

4 in stock

Flavors of crunchy pear, pink grapefruit zest and ground ginger ride a lively bead set in a firm and toasty frame in this sleek Champagne. Smoky finish, cut with a refreshing streak of minerality. Gorgeous.

Billecart-Salmon is one of the few remaining Champagne houses to be owned by the original family. The house was established in 1818 by Nicolas-François Billecart, and the majority of their fruit comes from their own vineyards. Where they buy fruit, they manage the vineyards themselves, ensuring full control of the process from vineyard to bottle. Whilst especially renowned for the quality of their delicate rosé, the Brut Réserve (a blend of three vintages) is a beautifully harmonious and balanced wine.
