A No-Sulfites Added cabernet with a slightly cloudy appearance due to the natural vinification. Fruity and inviting with chocolate and liquorice tones and granular, drying tannins that work well.
'No es Pituko' is Chilean slang for 'it ain't fancy' reflecting the fact that this wine was vinified naturally, without any additions at any stage. The grapes were handharvested and brought to the winery in 18 kilogram boxes to preserve the quality. They were destemmed, pressed and cooled at 8°C, before being fermented with wild yeasts from the environment. Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at temperatures of 23 to 27°C and lasted for 12 to 15 days. The wine rested on its lees for three months without any influence of oak to showcase the purity of fruit. The wine was not filtered or fined before bottling, which may result in a slightly cloudy appearance. Small batches of wine are bottled on demand during the year
