A beautifully balanced champagne with notes of apple, peach and apricot, complemented by light brioche and dried fruits. Aged 36 months in bottle, this is a genuine small grower-producer Champagne.
50% Pinot Meunier, 25% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir
The Lete-Vautrain estate was created in the 1960s in Chateau-Thierry by Robert Lete and his wife Liliane Vautrain. Their 7.5 hectare vineyard stretches across the town of Chateau-Thierry and the neighboring village of Essomes-sur-Marne. As a producer and winemaker (Recoltant Manipulant), they own and tend to all aspects of the vineyards. The vineyards are located on limestone slopes that benefit from excellent sun exposure.
The term Recoltant Manipulant is significant as it defines the Champagne House as a grower who makes and markets Champagne under their own label, from grapes exclusively sourced from their own vineyards and processed on their own premises.
