A super Rioja, particularly for those that like the smooth, vanilla inflected style which comes from ageing in American oak. Ripe dark fruits, figs, sweet spices, chocolate and mocha with a smooth, creamy finish. Lovely stuff.
80% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha 5% Mazuelo. Aged for 24 months in American oak, and a further year in bottle before release.
A family winery dating back to 1918 as Bodegas Arjona, but renamed to Bogegas Navajas in 1983 when Navajas family acquired it.
