A light, dry and refreshing white wine from the Trebbiano grape, with notes of citrus, acacia flowers and a touch of minerality leading to a zesty and lingering finish. A very easy, tasty drop.
The Novità collection is made by winemaker Enrico Salvatore of Cevico, one of Italy’s most important wine-making organisations, who own over 6,700 hectares of vines, so consistency of quality is guaranteed. The vines are grown in clay soils, which are known for its water retention properties and help to ensure sufficient water supply to the vines during the warm summer.
The grapes were briefly macerated on their skins at 10°C followed by gentle pressing.Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at 19 to 19°C, with a selected yeast strain. The wine was then filtered and left to rest in tank until bottled.
