A fragrant, perfumed wine with cedar, blackcurrant and floral notes. Superb balance with fine tannins. A very representative Margaux with elegance, concentration and savoury finish.
52% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot, 2% Cabernet Franc.
Château Rauzan-Ségla, established in 1661, has a wonderfully long and colourful history. It was considered one of the leading Second Growth estates during the 19th century, but its star waned....until perfume house Chanel stepped in. During the 80s, they oversaw a remarkable renaissance and Château Rauzan-Ségla is now back where it belongs. The Ségla is the estate's second wine, but is renowned for offering the authentic Margaux experience at a more moderate price point, and at a younger age.
